Why You Need Duct Armor

Our patented restoration is non-invasive and eliminates the need to cut up the foundation of your home. (Or use HVAC Liner here) Our HVAC liner restores air quality and extends the life of airways (or ductwork?).

Duct Armor is the safe and easy way to restore ductwork in your home or business through encapsulation in a non-invasive manner, and it avoids the chaos of renovation projects. Remodeling your home and the relocation of air ducts into the attic and purchasing a new furnace is not necessary with Duct Armor as your solution. All of our work can be done while you are in the home, in a fraction of the time. We even turn on your heat or air conditioning at the end of our workday.

Between the 1940’s and 1980’s builders used a material known as transite when placing ductwork in-slab, or underground ducts. Transite was the tradename used for concrete which has asbestos as the bonding agent. As systems have gone through the normal wear and tear of life, those asbestos fibers become friable and then airborne, posing a risk to anyone who is exposed.

Duct Armor offers a variety of benefits to your residence or commercial space. Not only is it environmentally friendly, but it’s safe for your family and pets, too. The coating material is a proprietary water-based latex material that contains zinc. Our product will inhibit the growth of molds and bacterial growths, without the use of poisons, off-gassing or VOC’s. Duct Armor is so safe it’s classified as a non-hazmat material for shipping.
